The Amazing Spider-Man REVIEW- Rudy Tavarez

Our number one fan sends us his full review of the (not so) Amazing Spider-Man.

Hello everyone
First of all an apologize for my broken English!

The Amazing Spider-Man
Directed by Marc Webb
Reboot superhero type of movie.

Well I like marvel better than DC and I think Spider Man is one of star of Marvel.
In general the movie does what it does, I guess we must make a comparison between “Spider Man” By Sam Raimi and this one, right? Well Sam has a better background in “action” films and he did very good with Spider Man, well better according with the world so far. Of course he had the advantage of non-comparison but that’s a risk they have when they do reboots.

I think it was too much “bla bla bla” yes Marc used original ideas from comics but do we really care? I mean if I’m interested in the comic well I get it to read it, right? The “action” movie turned to have only a few minutes of action right in the end, I think he felt so much success of 500 days of summer (which is good) that he make Andrew and Emma having a summer fling. I was expecting THE BEST experience of 3D because Kailey said that it was good, well sorry but it wasn’t I didn't see any difference at all and same with special effects I mean if I see Spider Man from 2002 I’m sure I won’t notice difference.

Emma Stone was good for what she did, I think she can’t go out from her zone but it is a bit wide. Andrew Garfield well he got us with the Facebook movie, from my view he did good job there, but I think Spider Man was a bit too big for him I couldn’t see his passion about to be a superhero he didn’t convince me at all. My favourite part was when Stan Lee was listening to his music and the movements of Spider Man were synchronised I like that.

I guess The Amazing Spider Man is “against” The Avengers even both are from the same studio. Yes I’m a HUGE fan of Iron Man and of course The Avengers but even though The world liked it better, and even I was surprised how good it turned to be the whole bunch of stars working together. Special effects, 3D and action wise WOW way better than SP.

I don’t see the Dark Knight as a superhero film, not the ones made by Nola, this guy wants to do everything like inception or Memento, but anyhow we will talk about it in a couple of weeks. That’s why from my view it’s hard to put these three movies at the same level, I would say Spider Man and Avengers were made for a mix of audience and The Dark Knight was more adult than kids, they could get a bit too dark and scary, I’m just saying.

Anyhow, thanks
Rudy
